We install the suspension for you and include the original ridged fork with your bike, just in case you want to switch it back at a later date. The optional suspension fork was specifically tuned for the Rover with 50mm of travel to smooth out bumps while providing more control on the trail. Our geometry is suspension corrected which means adding the optional suspension fork will not compromise the Ride Right Geometry that the Reyes is born with. We also added some cool features that make upgrading simple if your child finds themselves on trails more often than pavement. Lock-on grips ensure smaller hands will be where they need to be when controlling the bike or grabbing the brake. Stopping is on-point with Tektro disc brakes and child proportioned levers that are smooth and provide lots of modulation for controlled stopping in any situation. Sram’s 7 speed gripshift shifter makes shifting easy, fun and reliable. We then added tubeless ready rims (more on this below) and Kenda Krad tires to make the bike feel light and stable. Our base model consists of an all-aluminum 6061 frame and fork to make the bike strong and light. Additionally, the super lightweight frame, our very own crank-set design, and cushy Kenda tires all play crucial parts in making the Rover fit just right and provide confidence in your child’s life long passion of riding a bike. The Rover’s geometry is designed using our “Ride Right Geometry” with a low center of gravity making it easy to control, our child proportional sized saddle, grips, and pedals are designed to keep bums, hands and feet in place. This means that the base model is well equipped to handle almost all situations, but with a few available upgrade options, the Rover could also be considered an Ultimate Mountain Bike! Similar to it’s older sibling the Reyes, we designed the Rover to be compatible with all types of riding. The Rover is the first bike in our lineup to have a multi-speed drive-train. We started from scratch and designed every part of the Rover from the ground up.
